Warning to Kokomo Buyers and Sellers!

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “Buyer Beware!” There is another saying I want you to internalize… It’s “Kokomo Surfer Beware!” and I’m not talking about ocean sharks, either! What I’m talking about is all the information you can find on the internet – specifically as it relates to real estate.

You can find literally tons of information on the internet about buying and selling real estate and lots of sites where you can search for homes from the privacy of your own home. Some of the information you find is excellent, much of it is not.

Because of the internet, the business of real estate is changing to benefit you, the consumer. BUT (and this is a big BUT), the internet cannot substitute for local market knowledge and experience. It cannot understand your needs and objectives and give you the personal attention you need and deserve.

Mollie Wasserman, a pioneer in real estate consulting and the founder of the Accredited Consultant in Real Estate (ACRE®) program and designation, says it best:
